Summary of Available Benefits
Richland offers its regular full-time employees a variety of benefits to choose from. Each employee is granted $265.00 as a monthly allowance towards benefits. The employee chooses which benefits to spend that money on. Some of the options available are as follows:

Medical Insurance - Medical insurance plans are offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida and Aetna US Healthcare. The types of plans and carrier options vary depending on the area that the employee is located in. Each medical plan contains a $10,000.00 Life and AD&D benefit.

Dental Plan - We offer both a DMO and PPO plan through Aetna Dental Insurance Company. This plan is available to employees as well as their dependents.

Vision Care Plan - An additional vision plan is offered through Vision Care. Employees have the option of enrolling themselves as well as dependents in the Vision Care Plan.

Short Term Disability Insurance - Three Short Term Disability options are available to employees. The benefit amounts vary from 50% to 60% of your basic weekly earnings with differing maximums. Each option does contain a 15-day waiting period.

Long Term Disability Insurance - We also offer three options of Long Term Disability with varying benefit options ranging from 50% to 60% of your basic monthly earnings. Benefits begin following a six month waiting period and maximums range from $625.00 per month to $10,000.00 per month.

In addition to the above mentioned benefits, Richland also offers employees the opportunity of purchasing additional Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment plans for themselves as well as their dependents.


An additional benefit offered at Richland is the 401(k) program.

Richland offers its employees the opportunity to invest in a 401(k) program. The program is administered by Slavic Investments. Eligible participants must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 90 days of service with the company. Richland matches 50% of the employee's contribution up to 6% with a 4 year vesting schedule.

Vacation / Sick Time - Richland employees accrue vacation time at a rate of 2 weeks per calendar year, vacation accrual start immediately upon hire. Sick time is accrued at a rate of 5 days per calendar year. As with vacation time, sick time accrual starts immediately upon hire.
